Liz High
founding partner

Liz; a Geography graduate with an MA in Psychology of Leisure, is one of the founding partners of Intrepid. Her career in research and consultancy started 15 years ago in the public sector. After working for three London Authorities, Liz joined Sports Marketing Surveys Ltd. where her clients included the McLaren F1 racing team, the RFU, and Manchester United.

Liz met her Intrepid co-founder Misia at BEM Ltd, a specialist customer relationship consultancy. Her clients included United Utilities, Welsh Water, Lloyds TSB and Microsoft.

Today, in addition to fulfilling the role of Sales Director on the Intrepid Board, she directs selected accounts in the UK and abroad.

Her spare time revolves in equal part between food, wine, and her daughters Sapphire and Scarlet. She is also to be found on the terraces of Stamford Bridge singing perhaps a little too loudly for the corporate enclosure.

Patrick Massey
consultant

Patrick works across the Intrepid group in a number of roles.  He has responsibility for people and culture which involves driving all recruitment, training and development and the implementation of Intrepid’s proprietary approach to personal development which focuses on both personal and professional growth. 

From a client perspective he has responsibility for driving Intrepid’s approach to ethnography, moderation, facilitation and creative thinking and its application to commercial projects.  

Patrick has 15 years experience in the application of research to client problems.  Today this allows him to drive effective and sustainable relationships through strong client management skills, core research skills (in all disciplines), sector expertise, team management and ultimately the effective application of evidence based solutions to business needs. 

Patrick is committed to adopting the company philosophy on personal growth although work commitments often make achieving the right work life balance somewhat difficult!  In his spare time, Patrick builds furniture, is a keen photographer, watches Chelsea football club and spends time with his family in France.

Anna Noren
senior account manager

Anna has over six years experience in the research industry and very much enjoys the challenge it presents to find innovative research solutions to answer client problems. She will do her utmost to ensure that the results deliver against the research objectives with tight project management and creative research solutions.

After a degree in Business Studies and French from Lund University in Sweden Anna worked for an of internet consultancy for two years before moving into the world of market research. After two and a half years with a small research consultancy in Stockholm Anna decided to leave her native Sweden and move to London.

Three years at RS Consulting gave her lots of experience with B2B and consumer research for clients such as HP, DPWN and Nokia as well as a firm grounding in a wide range of research techniques.

In her spare time Anna likes to spend time with friends and family, preferably cooking together or going out for a glass of two. Most of her travels seem to involve Sweden (more friends and family) and in the summer a week or two in the Stockholm archipelago is a must. She's also struggling to learn the art of tango dancing - very much a long term project.

Thomas Prosser
account director

Thomas’s role within Intrepid is that of an Account Manager on projects undertaken within Intrepid.  His duties include the day to day project management of the research process, client liaison, research design and implementation, qualitative moderation and the presentation of outputs to clients and other stakeholders as relevant. 

Thomas completed his undergraduate studies in 2000, with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia.  Specializing in International Economics and Marketing, Thomas commenced his career in the Australian public sector with positions in conciliation with the consumer affairs ministries in the states of Western Australia and Victoria.  In 2002 Thomas took up a graduate position with the Australian Bureau of Statistics in Melbourne, obtaining a broad spectrum of experience in research, survey development and co-ordination, data analysis and client relations. 

Thomas enjoys a fast paced lifestyle and is keen to absorb all that the world has to offer.  Living with his partner in Shoreditch, Thomas enjoys being in the thick of a plethora of wining and dining opportunities across the city. He enjoys spending time with his friends and ensuring a busy social calendar. He likes to keep fit going to the gym and swimming when he can.

Krista Uellendahl
senior project manager

Krista’s role as Senior Project Manager ensures that projects undertaken within Intrepid run as smoothly as possible.  Accredited in the PRINCE2 Project Management method, Krista’s responsibilities also involve monitoring and implementing a structured and organised approach to all Intrepid’s research processes. By guiding projects through a controlled and well managed set of activities, Krista works with the Intrepid team to ensure timely project delivery for our diverse client base.  

After graduating with a business degree from the University of South Australia, Krista was briefly employed as a Research Assistant within their tourism marketing division. Upon re-locating to the UK Krista was keen to pursue a career in market research, and, before joining Intrepid, benefited from experience working in research administration at Queen Mary, University of London.  

Krista is a passionate traveller and since moving to London has enjoyed sampling the wealth of theatres, restaurants and music venues the city has to offer. To indulge her keen music interest Krista enjoys playing the piano and in her spare time likes to keep active by going to the gym and playing netball.

Andrew Lemon
technical portal manager

As Technical Portal Manager at Intrepid, Andrew’s main duties include developing and sourcing content for the portals, monitoring technical performance of the websites and managing the building of new portals. 

Andrew also runs his own Multimedia authoring business, mainly dealing with soundtracks and sound effects for show reels, presentations, events and computer software.  Andrew started out making music for computer games in the 90's as a side-line to his full time work.

Julie Kummer
director digital solutions

Julie recently joined the Intrepid team as a Portal Insight Manager.  Her duties include driving community insight and recording online social patterns across the growing number of portals that Intrepid manages. 

Julie moved to London from Switzerland to finalise her dissertation on ‘Exploring Usability of Online Communities’.  Previously, Julie worked as a project manager for Orange Communications in Zurich. 

Besides her computer talents, Julie can also speak 5 languages, has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, and even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Misia Tramp
founding partner and president

Misia is a founding partner and Joint Managing Director of Intrepid. Having gained her degree in Mathematical Engineering from Bristol University she joined BEM, a specialist customer relationship consultancy as a Director working in Financial Services, Telecoms, IT, Leisure, Travel and Tourism. It was there she met her Intrepid co-founder Liz High and decided to form Intrepid.

Today Misia heads up Intrepid's R&D and Operations departments. Her main focus however is as Lead Consultant for Microsoft, where she has worked on a global and regional level over the past nine years. Misia is constantly developing new methods and techniques to meet client needs and can be regularly seen on the conference circuit.

Misia has recently made the move to Seattle to head up the new US offices for Intrepid. She enjoys spending time with her ever-growing family.

Jay Boynton
senior account manager

Jay comes to Intrepid as an experienced market researcher with a background in strategy consulting, competitive intelligence and freelance journalism. He has run research projects across a range of industry verticals, including financial services, software/new media and healthcare.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. An avid writer and traveler, he lived in Chile for 2004-2005 working as newswire journalist covering IT and wireless trends in the emerging markets of Latin America. He has written industry reports, market-sizing studies, and travel pieces and holds a certificate in narrative non-fiction from the University of Washington.

In his spare time he enjoys landscape photography and has displayed his work locally in his home town of Seattle. To get the most interesting outdoorsy photos, he can be found telemark skiing in the winters and backpacking in the summers, and has summited Mt Rainier twice

 

Kalindi Kunis
client operations director

Kalindi comes to Intrepid from a career in marketing communications and project management. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her graduate studies in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She will be working on opening Intrepid’s Seattle Office and managing client accounts in the US.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Kalindi worked in Seattle’s robust Web 2.0 industry as a marketing, project and business manager. Before joining the professional high tech community her career meandered through Educational Curriculum Research and Development into marketing and communications management for high profile not-for-profit agencies.

In her personal life, Kalindi leads a very active and spiritual lifestyle. She plays competitive Ultimate Frisbee year-round and travels far and wide to compete in tournaments. In addition to enjoying music, art, gourmet food, wine and boutique beer, she is an accomplished abstract painter and graphic designer.
