Liz High

Liz graduate with First Class Honours in Geography and has an MA in the Psychology of Leisure.  Her career began with community development work ranging from film projects with young people to setting up a library service for Feltham Young Offenders and securing lottery funding to build community facilities.

Liz’s joined the private sector with Sports Marketing  Surveys,  where she worked for the European Golf Tour, McLaren F1 Racing team, Manchester United and the RFU. 

Liz met Misia, Intrepid’s co-founder when she joined BEM, a specialist Customer Value Consultancy.  Working on accounts like Microsoft, United Utilities, AT&T, LloydsTSB and Abbey National they created a strong working partnership that resulted in the birth of Intrepid in 1998.

Liz now leads on GE, O2, Amex, News International, RBS, and TalkTalk. She pioneered the development of Intrepid’s award winning Advisory Council Proposition and introduced Virtual Ethnography as a new technique to the UK client base. She has presented and published papers on both subjects.  

Liz and her two daughters Sapphire and Scarlet live with an artist in a mess of oil paint and giant canvases. She’s currently working for her Wine and Spirits Diploma with the aim of becoming a Master of Wine when she finally has some time to devote to her true passion.
