Gaelle Bertrand
Gaëlle moved to the UK from her native France to study at Leeds Metropolitan University as part of her Masters in European Marketing. After graduating in 1996, she moved to the UK permanently, first working in logistics for Spillers Petfoods (now part of Nestle Purina) but quickly moved onto Consumer Research in which she had a keen interest.
She started her career at TNS, for whom she worked for nearly 7 years and has also held positions with GlaxoSmithKline and Dunnhumby.
In this time, Gaëlle has worked with some of the key FMCG organisation including P&G, Coca-Cola, and Diageo developing actionable consumer insights using a wealth of sources, research approaches and analysis techniques.
Gaëlle recently joined from Synovate to support research excellence within the Intrepid business and contribute to the development of key accounts.
In her spare time, Gaëlle enjoys skiing and ice skating. She also enjoys travelling and is desperately trying to increase the proportion of the world she has visited: so far only 14% but hopes to increase this percentage very soon! She has a keen interest in personal development and is planning to complete a coaching course before the end of 2010.
